Job summary

Mixlab in Wisconsin seeks a Pharmacist in Charge to lead our Wisconsin pharmacy team, drive operational excellence, quality, and compliance, while partnering with cross-functional teams to grow the lab and deliver exceptional care to veterinary partners and pet parents.

The PIC will spend half time on operations and half on strategic initiatives, oversee pharmacists and technicians, own the lab P&L, ensure licenses, and guide product features and care training for sales and clinics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years working as a Pharmacist.
• 3+ years as PIC managing Pharmacists and Technicians.
• 2+ years in a compounding pharmacy.
• Licensed Pharmacist in WI in good standing.
• Formal training in non-sterile compounding (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead pharmacy team and drive efficiency and quality.
• Oversee Pharmacists, compounding and processing technicians.
• Own the lab P&L and ensure monthly output and financial goals.
• Plan staffing with Finance and Operations for growth.
• Drive process improvements with cross-functional teams for efficiency and quality.
• Work with compliance to obtain licenses and stay compliant.
• Collaborate with development for product features guidance.
• Partner with Sales on training and field documentation.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to pet parents.
• Review medication orders and spend 50% of time in operations.
• Consistently deliver a delightful experience for clients.
