Job summary

MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PET) to join the Diagnostic Imaging team. This role performs high-quality nuclear medicine procedures with a focus on patient safety and compassionate care.

Requirements include an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program and ARRT RT(N), NMTCB CNMT, CMRT, and BLS certifications. Onsite in Texas Medical Center; occasional off-site travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Licenses: RT(N), CNMT, CMRT and BLS required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nuclear medicine examinations across all settings.
• Maintain patient safety and privacy per HIPAA and ALARA standards.
• Prepare rooms, escort patients, and ensure timely starts and efficient workflow.
• Operate nuclear medicine equipment and report any issues.
• Coordinate with radiologists and care teams for accurate diagnoses.
