Job summary

MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX, seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide advanced nuclear medicine exams across diverse settings, ensuring precision, patient safety, and high-quality imaging.

You will work with a multidisciplinary DI team, perform QA tasks, stay compliant with ALARA and HIPAA, and travel to off-site locations as needed. Requires accredited program graduate and ARRT/NMTCB certification; competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Strong understanding of nuclear medicine procedures and safety.
• BLS certification required and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality nuclear medicine exams across settings: routine, inpatient, emergent, and on-call.
• Ensure patient safety, proper positioning, and documentation in RIS and billing systems.
• Operate equipment independently, conduct QA tasks, and report issues promptly.
• Follow ALARA and HIPAA standards; maintain clean imaging rooms and proper waste disposal.
• Collaborate with DI team to optimize patient flow and on-time starts.
• Travel to off-site imaging locations as needed.
