Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Tampa seeks a qualified PET Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and radiopharmaceutical procedures. You will operate EMR/PACS, ensure patient safety, and deliver high-quality nuclear medicine studies under physician direction.
The role requires Graduation from an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program and CNMT/ARRT(N) certification or eligibility, plus BLS.
Qualificações
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology required.
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT(N) registered or registry eligible required.
- BLS Certification required.
Responsabilidades
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously under physician direction.
- Record radiation dosage and radiopharmaceuticals used and disposed of per protocol.
- Detect and map radiopharmaceuticals in patients using camera for imaging.
- Gather patient history to guide diagnostic procedures.
- Maintain and calibrate radiopharmacy equipment and lab instruments.
- Explain procedures to patients and assist during imaging tests.
