Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute seeks a qualified PET/CT Technologist to administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate PET/CT and CT scanners, and support high-quality diagnostic imaging. The role requires ARRT/NMTCB certification or eligibility, CNMT preferred, and state licensure.

You will ensure safety and patient care in a fast-paced oncology setting. Responsibilities include QC, radiation safety, EMR/PACS navigation, and collaboration with physicians to tailor imaging protocols

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Nuclear Medicine training preferred.
• CNMT or ARRT(N) certified or registry eligible.
• ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT) must be obtained within two years of hire.
• State CRT license required.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiopharmaceuticals under physician supervision.
• Measure radiation dosage and record using computer systems.
• Operate PET/CT and CT scanners per protocol.
• Perform quality control on radiology equipment and QC checks.
• Explain test procedures and safety precautions to patients.
