Job summary

RAYUS Radiology seeks a PET & Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging with gamma cameras and PET/CT systems. You will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, administer them intravenously, and ensure safety and quality through QC and compliance with state and federal guidelines.

The role requires NMTCB certification, Florida licensure, and a degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology; CPR/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology; may consider an associate's degree from an accredited program with applicable experience.
Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography
Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) Certification, in good standing
Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable, i.e. for the State of Florida, must maintain certification (licensure) by earning required NMTCB & Florida State CME's
Certification in imaging specialty
Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform Nuclear Medicine procedures independently
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
Certification in ACLS (Advance Cardiac Life Support)

Responsibilities

Operate imaging equipment (Gamma cameras) to create diagnostic images.
Prepare radioactive drugs and administer them to patients (IV).
Maintain safety and compliance with state/federal guidelines.
Perform QC and adjust nuclear medicine cameras and PET/CT equipment for high-quality images.
