Job summary

Petland Corporate Stores in Ohio is seeking Sales Associates to help match the right pet with the right customer and support the human–animal bond. You will provide friendly service, educate customers, and contribute to a caring, pet-loving team.

This role offers opportunities for training, career growth, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment. A high school diploma or GED and strong communication are valued; prior retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Match the right pet with the right customer and meet the needs of both.
• Provide top-notch customer service.
• Educate customers on each pet’s basic needs and care.
• Explain the value of Petland pets and programs to ensure a great customer experience.
• Maintain clean and safe store environment and assist with opening/closing duties.
• Support animal care staff and assist with community activities as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
