Interaction with customers should be professional and appropriate. Discussions should be focused on nutrition, animal care and product information. Personal conversations should be avoidedEducate customers about products and offer suggestions to meet their needsProcess sales transactions accurately at POS registers and online ordersProduct Knowledge and Education Responsibilities:Demonstrate comprehension and completion of all JRCsParticipate in scheduled classroom trainingsRead Product Training Sheets and complete associated quizzesKnow relevant features and benefits of current food brands and categoriesDemonstrate comprehension of basic cat and dog physiology and nutritionCommunicate information consistent with the All The Best philosophyUtilize knowledge of products and pet nutrition to make recommendationsTeam Member Responsibilities:Work well with others to achieve sales and operational goals and objectivesTake initiative to perform tasks that need to be done at slow times during the dayFollows directions from leadershipSupport other team members as neededHave a positive attitude and is willing and able to work at other stores and send help to stores as needed.
