Job summary

SCRI Oncology Partners in Nashville, TN, seeks an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform PET imaging procedures, manage radiopharmaceutical injections, image reconstruction, and report archiving.

Under supervision, you will schedule procedures, ensure accurate patient data, participate in QA, and contribute to teaching materials while collaborating with the Medical Director and SCRI affiliation.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Biology or nuclear medicine technology from an AMA accredited program.
• Minimum five to seven years experience in nuclear medicine, including two years of previous PET experience.
• CNMT and/or ARRT(N) certification and state licensure where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs PET scan procedures to include injection of radiopharmaceutical, setup of protocol, reconstruction and development of images, coordination of image on report function and archiving of images.
• Schedules procedures and related front office functions to ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensures accuracy of patient demographic information, report distribution and patient files.
• Collects clinical data for patient follow-up and development of teaching and educational information.
