Job summary

Mixlab is a fast-growing veterinary compounding pharmacy and is hiring a Pharmacy Manager for our New York compounding lab. You will lead daily operations, ensure quality and compliance, and mentor a team of technicians and pharmacists to deliver precise, pet-focused medications.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining top-tier customer service for veterinarians and pet owners.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years experience managing people in a pharmacy.
• 3-5 years experience as a pharmacist.
• Compounding experience is preferred.
• You have a customer-focused (pet-focused) mindset.
• You thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• You are a WI-licensed pharmacist in good standing with the WI Board of Pharmacy (additional licenses a plus).

Responsibilities

• Lead Daily Operations: conduct stand-ups, delegate workflow tasks, and allocate staffing resources.
• Monitor performance: track productivity and quality metrics and drive improvements.
• Improve workflow: troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges with Care and Logistics teams.
• Ensure quality and compliance: supervise activities and uphold USP and state regulations.
• Execute hands-on compounding: prepare non-sterile formulations with precision.
• Lead people: mentor technicians, pharmacists, and leads; coach for growth.
• Handle scheduling and administrative tasks to keep daily workflows running.
