Job summary

Tractor Supply and Petsense by Tractor Supply is seeking a Groom Tech to join the VIP Petcare team to deliver grooming and salon services to pets and their families. You will handle bathing, trimming, nail care and safety while maintaining a clean, welcoming salon environment.

Experience of 1+ year and a High School diploma are required; training and steady schedule, including weekends, are provided. Join a team focused on safety, care, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1+ year of industry-relevant grooming experience
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent is required. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Professional Certifications: None

Responsibilities

• Collect payment and review discharge paperwork with pet parents.
• Restrain pets for wellness procedures.
• Recommend services and products based on pet lifestyle.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary grooming area.
• Provide customer service and assist pet parents through the salon process.
• Achieve goals set by management (dollars per pet, pets per clinic, products and microchips).
• Scan pets for microchips.
• Finish dogs per client description and expectations.
• Manage grooming workload and schedule to meet departure times.
