Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply is seeking a Grooming Bath Assistant to support groomers by managing pet flow in the salon and delivering high-quality bathing services while keeping pets safe and comfortable. You will assist with customer service, appointment follow-ups, and sanitation, helping maintain a clean, organized work environment and ensuring a positive experience for our guests and their pets.

Team members work varied shifts, including weekends, with opportunities for training and growth

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts with varied hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
• Support selling initiatives by assisting customers and recommending products.
• Assist with bathing, drying, brushing, and grooming tasks.
• Ensure safe pet handling and maintain sanitation protocols.
• Assist with appointment scheduling and customer follow-up.
• Maintain records of services provided and vaccination records.
• Complete all documentation and operate store equipment as needed.
