Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply seeks a professional pet groomer to provide grooming services for dogs and cats in a high-volume store environment. You will welcome pets, perform grooming, and ensure client satisfaction through attention to detail and gentle handling.

The role requires at least 1 year of grooming experience, own grooming tools or a willingness to purchase, and completion of Paragon Level 1 & 2 training. Expect varied shifts inside a busy grooming salon.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year experience grooming pets; comfortable with dogs and cats.
• Must provide own grooming tools or be willing to purchase required tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Paragon Level 1 & 2 training provided by Petsense.
• Associates must read, write, and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service during grooming visits.
• Follow Petsense by Tractor Supply mission and safety standards.
• Maintain regular attendance and work varied hours as needed.
• Book appointments, greet pets, and verify vaccinations when required.
• Clip nails, trim coats, and shape fur per requested patterns.
• Maintain grooming tools and sanitize areas to prevent cross-contamination.
• Assist in store operations as needed.
