Job summary

Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. seeks a professional Pet Stylist responsible for delivering high-quality grooming services to pets. You will bathe, trim, style, and ensure safety and comfort for each animal while engaging with pet parents.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Pet Stylist Apprentice program with Petco, or experience as a professional groomer or grooming training.
• High-school diploma or GED preferred, though not required.
• Ability to solve grooming challenges with judgement and independence when guided.
• Strong attention to detail and passion for animals.
• Comfort working weekends, evenings and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional grooming services: bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts and styling, nail trimming, ear cleaning.
• Operate and maintain grooming tools and equipment; ensure safety and comfort of all pets.
• Provide exceptional customer service and grooming recommendations to pet parents.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized salon and assist with training entry-level staff when needed.
