Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Pet Stylist Apprentice program with Petco, or previous experience as a professional groomer.
• High-school diploma or GED preferred, though not required.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays; strong communication with pet parents.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, cuts, and styling.
• Operate grooming tools and maintain sanitation of equipment.
• Prioritize safety and comfort of animals while delivering high-quality care.
• Engage with pet parents to offer grooming recommendations and aftercare tips.
• Maintain a clean, organized grooming area and adhere to Petco policies.
