Job summary

Petco is seeking a Pet Stylist to deliver professional grooming services to our customers' pets. You will bathe, dry, brush, cut and style, while ensuring safety and comfort for every animal in our care.

The role involves interacting with pet parents, providing grooming recommendations, and maintaining a clean, safety-focused grooming area in a fast-paced Petco grooming salon. Weekend and holiday availability preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven grooming skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to provide quality customer service and educate pet parents.
• Willingness to train and supervise entry-level trainees when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional grooming services (bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, trimming).
• Operate grooming instruments (clippers, blades, brushes, dryers).
• Prioritize safety and well-being of every animal.
• Interact with pet parents and offer grooming recommendations.
• Educate owners on home care and grooming maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary grooming area and equipment.
