Petco is seeking a Pet Stylist to provide professional grooming services for pets, ensuring they look and feel their best. You will bathe, dry, brush, cut and style and deliver exceptional customer service to pet parents.

The role requires energy, care for animals, and attention to safety and quality. The position involves working weekends and some evenings, maintaining a clean grooming area, and collaborating with the Grooming Salon Leader, Solutions Manager, or Store GM.

Qualifications

• Pet Stylist Apprentice program completed with Petco or equivalent grooming training.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Lift up to 30 pounds and work weekends/evenings/holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and animal care.
• Excellent communication with pet parents.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional grooming services (bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, styling).
• Maintain clean, safe grooming area and sanitation practices.
• Interact with pet parents and offer grooming recommendations.
• Train or supervise entry-level trainees when needed.
• Adhere to Petco policies, standards, and breed requirements.
