Job summary

Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is seeking a Pet Stylist to provide professional grooming services, including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, nail trimming, and styling while ensuring the safety and comfort of each pet.

You will work with grooming tools and follow Petco standards, delivering high-quality care and customer service. Weekend/evening availability may be required, with opportunities for career growth within the grooming team.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Pet Stylist Apprentice program with Petco, or previous professional grooming experience.
• High-school diploma or GED preferred.
• Detail-oriented with grooming proficiency and animal care knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional grooming services (bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, styling, nail trimming, ear cleaning).
• Operate and maintain grooming instruments (clippers, blades, brushes, dryers).
• Prioritize safety and well-being of pets and provide excellent customer service to pet parents.
