Job summary

Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is seeking a Pet Stylist to provide professional grooming services in our grooming salon. You will handle bathing, styling, nail trimming, and safety while delivering excellent care to pets and their owners.

This role requires grooming expertise, the ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays, and a passion for animal welfare. We offer competitive pay and a supportive team environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Pet Stylist Apprentice program with Petco, or previous experience as a professional groomer and/or completion of a technical grooming training program.
• High-school diploma or GED preferred, though not required.
• Ambitious, detail-oriented with strong grooming skills and animal empathy.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts and styling, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning.
• Operate and maintain grooming tools and equipment.
• Prioritize pet safety and welfare and address concerns with pet parents and management.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary grooming area and follow Petco hygiene policies.
