Job summary

Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is seeking a Pet Stylist to deliver professional grooming services for our customers' pets. You will bathe, trim, style, and care for dogs with attention to safety and quality, while offering grooming advice to pet parents.

This role requires the ability to work weekends/evenings as needed, and a passion for animals with strong attention to detail. Petco provides competitive pay and benefits as part of our grooming team.

Qualifications

• Completion of Pet Stylist Apprentice program or professional grooming experience.
• High-school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work with various dog breeds and temperaments.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts and styling.
• Nail trimming, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe grooming area and sanitize tools regularly.
• Provide excellent customer service and grooming recommendations to pet parents.
