Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is seeking a Pet Stylist to deliver expert grooming services to our customers' dogs and cats in a busy grooming salon.

You will bathe, dry, trim, and style coats with compassion and attention to safety, following Petco standards and breed guidelines. You'll work with a supportive team, training opportunities, and benefits such as medical/dental/vision, 401k, PTO, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Completion of the Pet Stylist Apprentice program or professional grooming experience.
• High-school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to judge coat type, skin conditions, and temperament.
• Strong attention to detail and passion for animals.
• Excellent communication with pet parents.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services: bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts and styling, nail trimming, ear cleaning.
• Operate and maintain grooming instruments including clippers, blades, brushes, and dryers.
• Prioritize animal safety and monitor wellbeing; report concerns to owners and management.
• Educate pet parents on grooming maintenance and at-home care.
• Train, support, and supervise entry-level trainees when needed.
