Job summary

Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Pet Stylist to provide professional grooming services for dogs and cats in our grooming salon. You’ll bathe, brush, trim coats, trim nails, and ensure pets look and feel their best while delivering outstanding customer service to pet parents.

Qualifications

• Pet Stylist Apprentice program or equivalent grooming training.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Strong grooming skills with knowledge of breed standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional grooming services (bathing, drying, brushing, cuts, nails, ears, glands) per owner instructions.
• Operate and maintain grooming tools (clippers, blades, brushes, dryers).
• Prioritize pet safety and well-being; monitor for discomfort or illness and report concerns.
• Assess each pet's needs based on coat type, skin conditions, and temperament.
