Job summary

Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. in Egg Harbor Township, NJ is hiring a Pet Stylist to provide expert grooming services to our customers' pets, ensuring safe handling, quality cuts, and excellent customer service.

You will work with a team in a busy grooming salon, use clippers, blades, brushes, and dryers, and promote home care tips to pet parents. Must complete Pet Stylist Apprentice program or have grooming experience; weekend/evening availability is required; compensation starts at $15–$23 per

Qualifications

Completion of Pet Stylist Apprentice program or equivalent grooming training.
High-school diploma or GED preferred, though not required.
Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by schedule.
Strong attention to detail and genuine passion for animals.

Responsibilities

Perform professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts and styling, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning.
Operate grooming instruments such as clippers, blades, brushes, and dryers.
Prioritize safety and well-being of pets and communicate any concerns to pet parents and management.
Evaluate coat type, skin conditions, and temperament to tailor grooming.
