Job summary

PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog and/or Cat Groomer) is responsible for engaging with pet parents while providing high-quality grooming services and maintaining pet health and safety standards. This role also handles appointment management, client communication, and day-to-day salon operations.

Qualifications

• Prior grooming experience; or 6 months of Stylist in Training with Salon Academy training and safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs full menu of bath, brush and grooming services.
• Recommends additional health and wellness solutions to pet parents.
• Greet pet parents and assist with reservations in the salon.
• Conduct appointment reminder calls and maintain client records.
• Promote salon sales and merchandise to meet targets.
• Maintain cleanliness and humane conditions for all pets in the grooming area.
