Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply seeks a professional pet groomer to provide grooming services for dogs and cats in our store. You will follow grooming styles, maintain clean work areas, and greet clients and their pets during check-in and check-out.

The role requires at least 1 year of grooming experience, own grooming tools or willingness to purchase, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Paragon Level 1 & 2 training provided by Petsense is offered to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1-year grooming/styling pets.
• Must provide own tools (clippers, blades, shears) or be willing purchase required tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Paragon Level 1 & 2 training provided by Petsense.

Responsibilities

• Follow and demonstrate Petsense by Tractor Supply Mission and Values.
• Answer phone and schedule appointments.
• Assist in generating business by calling customers and scheduling appointments.
• Book appointments and greet pets as they come in.
• Follow bathing/grooming procedures as outlined.
• Clip dog’s hair according to determined pattern with clippers, scissors and shears.
• Adhere to safety rules and procedures.
