The role requires 1 year of grooming experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to bring personal tools or purchase required items.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year grooming/styling experience.
• Must provide own tools (clippers, blades, shears) or willing to purchase required tools.
• Associates must be able to read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Follow and demonstrate all Petsense by Tractor Supply Mission and Values
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance
• Work varied hours, days, nights, weekends and overtime as needed
• Answer phone and schedule appointments
• Assist in generating business by calling customers and scheduling appointments
• Book appointments and greet pets as they come in
• Follow bathing/grooming procedures as outlined
• Clip dog’s hair according to pattern with clippers, blades and shears
• Maintain grooming tools and equipment to prevent injury and disease
• Adhere to safety rules and company guidelines
• Assist in store operations as needed
