Pet Supplies Plus in Lilburn, GA is seeking an Experienced Groomer who is passionate about pets and customer service. You will groom, bathe, and style pets per owner instructions and breed standards, while ensuring safety and a friendly neighborly experience.

This commission-based role offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus for eligible hires and opportunities for training, career growth, and benefits for full-time teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year grooming experience with formal training certification or under a certified groomer is required.
• Ability to move or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods.
• Must provide your own grooming equipment.
• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability.
• Pass drug screening and be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Delight customers and pets with grooming services (brushing, bathing, conditioning).
• Groom and style pets per owner instructions and breed standards.
• Maintain wellness and safety of furry patrons.
• Develop long-term relationships with pet parents and recommend products/services.
• Engage with neighbors and participate in community outreach.
• Complete Safety Training certification.
• Keep grooming area clean and inviting.
• Support store team during downtime and grow grooming skills.
