Golden Pet Manufacturing in Seward, NE is seeking a Production Operator to join our team. You’ll work safely, follow the production schedule, perform quality checks, and operate equipment per SOP while contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work well both individually and within a group.
• Able & willing to work all shifts/schedules as needed.
• Lift to 60 pounds, climb stairs, kneel, stoop, sit, walk extensively during a 10-12 hour shift.
• Work indoors in a cooled sanitary environment with temperatures 45 degrees or below.
• Frequently around loud production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work safely, comply with safety, quality and sanitation policies and report hazards.
• Adhere to production schedule; collect data for delays related to schedules.
• Carry out required quality checks and monitor product quality.
• Operate equipment per SOP; set up/breakdown; notify maintenance of problems.
• Cross-train to various positions within the department.
• Move products manually or with assisted devices; follow food safety standards.
• Follow SOPs and 5S practices; maintain hygiene in the work area.
