Golden Pet Manufacturing is seeking a Production Operator in Seward, NE. You will safely follow safety, quality and sanitation policies, adhere to the production schedule, and perform quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.

You will operate equipment, assist with setup/breakdown, and cross-train across positions while maintaining high hygiene standards in a cooled facility. This role may involve lifting, bending, and extended shifts in a loud environment.

Qualifications

• Preferred: prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Preferred: work well individually and in a group.
• Preferred: able & willing to work all shifts as needed.
• Preferred: lift to 60 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Preferred: work indoors in a cooled sanitary environment (45°F or below).
• Preferred: frequent exposure to loud production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and follow safety, quality, and sanitation policies; report potential hazards.
• Adhere to production schedule and collect data on delays.
• Perform quality checks and monitor product quality during manufacturing.
• Operate equipment per SOP, handle setup/breakdown, notify maintenance of issues.
• Cross-train to various positions within or outside the department.
• Move products manually or with devices, following food safety standards.
• Follow SOPs, GMPs, 5S, and maintain hygiene in the work area.
