A focus on patient care, safety, and professional interactions is essential. The candidate must hold ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification with a State Nuclear Medicine License, along with a high school diploma or GED and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must have current ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification with State Nuclear Medicine License.
• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have BLS certification.
• Must have venipuncture certification/permit.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality nuclear medicine and/or PET/CT images on patients.
• Explain test procedures and safety precautions to patients, guiding them through procedures.
• Safeguards any on site medications and patient health information.
• Monitor patients’ well-being during exams and respond to any issues.
• Demonstrate cooperative working relationships with staff and patients.
