Qualifications

• Must have ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification with State Nuclear Medicine License.
• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have BLS certification.
• Must have venipuncture certification/permit.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality nuclear medicine and/or PET/CT images on patients while providing excellent care.
• Ensure proper dose of radionuclides is ordered for each patient.
• Explain procedures and safety precautions, guide patients through the process, and answer questions.
• Safeguard patient privacy and health information.
• Safeguard on-site medications and patient financial information.
