Job summary

Johns Hopkins HealthCare LLC is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech/PET Technologist to perform diagnostic radionuclide imaging and radiopharmaceutical administration for outpatient patients at Johns Hopkins Medical Imaging in Bethesda, MD. You will work with a team of PET/CT technologists and clinical leadership to ensure high-quality imaging.

The role requires ARRT-N or NMTCB certification, Maryland radiography license, CPR within 1 month of hire, and 2+ years for the II level; associate degree

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include an Associates Degree and completion of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology curriculum.
• Certification required: ARRT-N or NMTCB; MD radiography license; CT device license if performing diagnostic CT.
• CPR certification within 1 month of hire.
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist I/II level experience considerations.

Responsibilities

• Perform/assist in diagnostic radionuclide imaging and radiopharmaceutical administration.
• Work exclusively with outpatient PET/CT imaging alongside radiologists and PET/CT technologists.
• Collaborate with on-site leadership and imaging team; support high-quality imaging and workflow.

Education

Associates Degree

Completion of an approved curriculum in Nuclear Medicine Technology

ARRT Nuclear Medicine Certification (ARRT‑N) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB)

Maryland Radiography License

Special License to operate standalone/Hybrid CT devices for diagnostic CT from the Maryland Board of Physicians

CPR certification within 1 month of hire date

Nuclear Med Tech I -- Less than two (2) years of experience

Nuclear Med Tech II -- Two (2) or more years of experience
