Job summary

Bay Medical Management, LLC is seeking a PET/CT Technologist II to operate CT and PET scanners, perform imaging for diagnostic purposes, and ensure patient safety. This per diem role requires strong attention to protocol, coordination with radiologists, and ability to adapt to varying schedules across the Bay Area facility.

The ideal candidate holds CNMT/ARRT(N) and CT certifications with AMA-listed Nuclear Medicine training, and has a minimum of three years as a staff technologist, delivering

Qualifications

• Certificate of completion of technical training from an AMA approved institution.
• Minimum 3+ years staff technologist experience.
• Graduate of an accredited 2- or 4-year Nuclear Medicine Program.
• Holds an active CNMT or ARRT(N) license and CNMT or ARRT (CT) advanced certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and performs PET/CT imaging, operating equipment according to regulations.
• Ensures daily operations information is passed between staff and Radiologist.
• Assists in training and orientation of new employees.
• Follows site protocols and confers with Radiologist on symptoms and protocols.
• Reviews exam orders for scheduling and protocol accuracy under Medical Director guidance.
• Coordinates patient flow to maximize productivity while maintaining care standards.
