Job summary

OSF HealthCare in Peoria, IL seeks a PET/CT Technologist to operate the PET/CT scanner and ensure quality three-dimensional images. You will coordinate PET, CT and radiation treatment planning workflows, and manage all radioactive shipments and records in line with IEMA standards.

The role requires graduate of AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program, ARRT/NMTCB certification, IEMA licensure, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• ARRT or NMTCB certification in good standing.
• Illinois IEMA license.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate the PET/CT scanner to obtain quality 3D images.
• Direct workflow for PET scans, CT scans and treatment planning.
• Manage radioactive shipments and records per IEMA standards.
• Coordinate PET, CT and treatment planning scans; communicate with physicians, nursing staff and patients.
