Job summary

Illinois CancerCare is seeking a full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform PET/CT studies and ensure high-quality imaging with a patient-centered approach.

The role requires licensure in Illinois, NMTCB/ARRT certification, and experience in PET/CT protocols. Travel between clinics is mandatory, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
• Licensed by the state of Illinois to perform Nuclear Medicine and Radiography procedures.
• Current NMTCB and/or ARRT certification required.
• PET/CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs PET scan procedures including radiopharmaceutical injection, protocol setup, and image development.
• Coordinate imaging reports and archiving; assist with patient data collection for follow-up.
• Adapt protocols to match patient needs while maintaining high quality studies.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
• Travel to clinics is required.
