Job summary

Sentara Healthcare Inc. is seeking a PET/CT technologist to perform PET/CT imaging under physician supervision. You will position patients, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, manage doses, and operate radiology systems while maintaining QA standards.

The role requires ARRRT CT certification with registry within 2 years, and IV/contrast competency. This is a full-time on-site opportunity with comprehensive benefits and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• ALD Radiologic Sciences or trade school certificate required.
• ARRT (CT) required; CT registry obtained within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conducts PET/CT imaging under physician direction.
• Position patients for correct anatomy/pathology demonstrations.
• Prepare, dose manage and administer radiopharmaceuticals; IV/oral CT contrast.
• Explain procedures and discharge instructions; complete documentation.
• Comply with radioactive activity monitoring and QA standards.
