Job summary
RadNet is seeking a PET/CT Technologist in Hoboken, NJ to perform high quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging while prioritizing patient care and safety. You will ensure correct radiopharmaceutical dosing, explain procedures to patients, and monitor well-being during exams.
Professional conduct and HIPAA-compliant handling of information are essential. The role requires ARRT(N) and ARRT(CT) with a state Nuclear Medicine License or ARRT(R), plus a high school diploma/GED, BLS and
Qualifications
- ARRT(N) and ARRT(CT) with a State Nuclear Medicine License or ARRT(R) certification.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- BLS certification and venipuncture certification/permit required.
Responsibilities
- Perform high quality nuclear medicine and/or PET/CT images with patient care.
- Ensure proper radiopharmaceutical doses are ordered for each patient.
- Explain procedures and safety precautions to patients and guide them through exams.
- Monitor patient well‑being during exams and respond to discomfort or issues.
- Safeguard patient information and on-site medications per policy.
- Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers and respect boundaries.
