Job summary

RadNet is seeking a dedicated PET/CT Technologist to join our team in Riverside, California. The role involves performing high-quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging while prioritizing patient care and safety. You will explain procedures and monitor patients during exams, ensuring a supportive clinical environment.

The ideal candidate holds current ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification, a high school diploma or GED, and has BLS and venipuncture certifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision coverage, and wellness support.

Job description

Radiology Forward is a team‑focused organization dedicated to delivering quality, value, and access in patient care. When you join us as a PET/CT Technologist, you will be part of a dedicated team of professionals who align patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

You Will
  • Perform high quality nuclear medicine and/or positron emission tomography/computed tomography images on patients while providing excellent care.
  • Ensure proper dose of radionuclides are ordered for each patient.
  • Explain test procedures and safety precautions to patients, guiding them through the process by gently talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process. Monitor patients’ well‑being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
  • Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and patient health information.
  • Safeguard any on‑site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
  • Demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
  • Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers. Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have
  • Current ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification with State Nuclear Medicine License.
