Job summary

RadNet in Easton, Maryland is seeking a dedicated PET/CT Technologist who provides exceptional care while performing high-quality imaging procedures. You will be part of a committed team that prioritizes patient comfort and safety during the imaging process.

This role requires ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification and a focus on safeguarding patient information. Competitive pay ranges from $40.00 to $45.00 hourly, along with comprehensive benefits designed for both you and your family.

Qualifications

  • Current ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification with State Nuclear Medicine License.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • BLS certification and Venipuncture certification/permit required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high‑quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT images on patients.
  • Assure proper doses of radionuclides for each patient.
  • Explain test procedures and safety precautions to patients.
  • Monitor patients’ well‑being during exams.
  • Safeguard patient property and Health Information.
  • Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform high‑quality nuclear medicine and/or positron emission tomography/computed tomography images on patients while providing excellent care.
  • Assure proper doses of radionuclides are ordered for each patient.
  • Explain test procedures and safety precautions to patients, guiding them through a sometimes‑difficult process by gently talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process. Monitor patients’ well‑being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
  • Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Safeguard any on‑site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
  • Demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
  • Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers. Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have
