Radiology Forward is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to join a dedicated team delivering quality imaging services. You will perform high-quality PET/CT studies, manage radionuclide doses, and explain procedures with empathy to patients.

The role emphasizes safety, patient privacy, and collaborative care in a fast-paced clinical environment. ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification and BLS are required; HS diploma or GED and venipuncture certification are also expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality nuclear medicine and/or PET/CT images on patients with excellent care.
• Assure proper dose of radionuclides is ordered for each patient.
• Explain test procedures and safety precautions to patients and guide them through exams.
• Monitor patients’ well-being during exams and respond to any discomfort.
• Safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguard medications on site per policy and legal requirements.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers, respecting boundaries.
• Interact diplomatically with patients and families in a clinical setting.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

When you join us as a PET/ CT Technologist, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

You Will:

• Perform high quality nuclear medicine and/or positron emission tomography/computed tomography images on patients while providing excellent care.
• Assure proper dose of radionuclides are ordered for each patient.
• Explain test procedures and safety precautions to patients, guiding them through a sometimes-difficult process by gently talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process. Monitor patients’ well-being during exams; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers. Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Demonstrates ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:

• Must have current ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification with State Nuclear Medicine License.

Pay Range: $50-$60 her hour
