Job summary

K9 Resorts of Turnersville is hiring a Pet Care Technician to care for dogs in daycare and boarding, keep accommodations clean, and assist with baths and daily tasks. You’ll help ensure the safety and happiness of our furry guests and work closely with a team dedicated to compassionate care.

Ideal candidates love dogs, keep great observations, and can handle physical work. Weekend availability and a positive, can-do attitude are expected in this full-time role at our Gloucester Township location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift at least 20 lbs.
• Love for dogs and compassionate demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all guests are cared for in compliance with company standards.
• Oversee the health and well-being of dogs in daycare and boarding.
• Maintain sanitation of accommodations and outdoor areas.
• Perform body checks to identify pre-existing conditions or injuries.
• Work on your feet for 8 hours or more.
• Assist with tasks such as running dogs to customers, providing playtimes, and outdoor breaks.

Pet Care Technician Responsibilities

• Ensure all guests are cared for in compliance with company standards
• Oversee the health and well‑being of dogs in daycare and boarding
• Maintain the sanitation of all accommodations and outdoor areas
• Perform body checks to identify pre‑existing conditions and/or injuries
• Work on your feet for 8 hours or more
• Perform additional tasks as requested by management, including:
• Running dogs from daycare or boarding to customers
• Providing personal playtimes for dogs
• Taking dogs outside for elimination breaks
