Job summary

K9 Resorts of Dumbo is seeking a Pet Care Technician who loves dogs and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. You will spend time with canine guests, perform baths, and help manage daycare and boarding to keep every dog happy and safe.

Responsibilities include maintaining spotless accommodations, monitoring health, and following company standards. Strong communication, observation, and a positive attitude are essential for teamwork and guest satisfaction, with some weekend/holiday hours

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to lift at least 20 lbs.
• Weekend and holiday hours may be required.
• Must love dogs and have a positive attitude.

• Running dogs from daycare or boarding to customers.
• Providing personal playtimes for dogs.
• Taking dogs outside for elimination breaks.

Role: Pet Care Technician

As a Pet Care Technician at K9 Resorts of Dumbo, you will be at the heart of our commitment to cleanliness and compassionate care. This role involves spending ample time with our furry friends, ensuring their well-being and happiness. If you love dogs and don’t mind getting your hands dirty, this is the perfect job for you. Daily tasks include cleaning accommodations, giving baths, and managing doggie daycare. Strong communication and observation skills, along with a keen eye for detail, are essential.

Pet Care Technician Responsibilities

• Achieve the mission and goals of K9 Resorts.
• Ensure all guests are cared for in compliance with company standards.
• Oversee the health and well-being of dogs in daycare and boarding.
• Maintain the sanitation of all accommodations and outdoor areas.

• Perform additional tasks as requested by management, including:
  • Running dogs from daycare or boarding to customers.
  • Providing personal playtimes for dogs.
