Chow Hound is hiring a Shift Supervisor to ensure animal care, deliver outstanding customer service, and guide team members during shifts. This role offers advancement opportunities and a chance to grow within a pet-focused retail environment.

The Shift Supervisor will oversee daily store operations, help with merchandising, and ensure safety standards while providing friendly, knowledgeable service to every customer who visits our stores.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service in a retail environment.
• Ability to supervise a team during shifts.
• Basic cash handling and POS operation skills.
• Knowledge of store merchandising and safety standards.
• Availability to open/close the store.

Responsibilities

• Ensure animals in our care are fed, watered, and kept in clean enclosures per standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge to customers.
• Operate the cash register and process payments accurately.
• Assist with merchandising, store resets, endcaps, and stocking.
• Direct the team during shifts and communicate with the Store Manager.
