Job summary

Nestlé Purina seeks a Materials Planning Coordinator for our Flagstaff facility to ensure 100% production availability. You will monitor inventory, place orders, expedite shipments, and coordinate with factory teams to keep operations running smoothly.

Key duties include reconciling discrepancies in procure-to-pay and freight, updating inbound truck schedules, and supporting Nestlé Continuous Excellence initiatives while assisting suppliers with payments and weights.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year experience in material purchasing, inventory management or transportation coordination.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing, logistics or supply chain environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate & reconcile discrepancies within the materials procure to pay and freight payment processes.
• Create, update, and track inbound truck schedule and provide follow-up with carrier compliance issues.
• Contribute to and participate in Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE) activities to drive results.
• Respond to supplier questions regarding payments, weights or grades.
• Reconcile BNSF miscellaneous accounts and support demurrage cost reduction initiatives.
• Maintain ingredient freight rate summaries and manage rate configuration files.
