Job summary

Destination Pet LLC is hiring a Lead Animal Care Attendant in Denver, CO. You will lead the daily care team, manage meds, and ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all pets. The role requires a high energy level, compassion for animals, and the ability to train new staff.

You’ll be on your feet most of the shift, lift up to 40 lbs, and work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Benefits include health, 401K, and pet insurance discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in animal care is preferred.
• Med administration experience is a plus.
• CPR training is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pack during shifts by coaching and guiding teammates.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and high-quality pet care.
• Train new hires on pet handling and procedures.
• Monitor health and well-being of pet guests and report any concerns.
