Pet Supplies Plus 4007 in Wilmington, NC is hiring a Retail Pet Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service and pet care. You’ll greet customers, help choose food and supplies, and promote store specials throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment, especially on weekends.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet neighbors with a friendly, pawsitively passionate attitude
• Help a new puppy parent pick the right food—or help a regular find exactly what they always forget the name of
• Make thoughtful product recommendations based on each pet’s needs
• Operate the POS system, process transactions, and handle returns
• Promote store specials, loyalty programs, and current offers
• Stock shelves, manage inventory, and keep displays organized
• Lift and stock bags of pet food and supplies (heavy at times)
• Assist pet parents with self-wash stations and explain the process
• Restock bathing supplies and keep the store clean and welcoming
• Provide occasional services like walk-in nail trims (training provided)
