Countryside Veterinary Hospital is seeking a compassionate Pet Care Attendant to join our team. You will provide daily care for hospitalized and boarding pets, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being while maintaining a clean hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive daily care for hospitalized and boarding pets.
• Walk and exercise dogs according to hospital and boarding protocols.
• Feed pets and provide fresh water according to their individual care instructions.
• Clean and sanitize dog runs, cages, and kennel areas.
• Clean and maintain cat cages in both kennel and hospital areas.
• Monitor pets for changes in behavior, appetite, comfort, or condition and communicate concerns to the veterinary team.
• Maintain the overall cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the kennel area.
• Keep animal-care spaces stocked and ready for patients.
• Interact with clients in a friendly, compassionate, and professional manner.
• Follow hospital protocols to help maintain a safe environment for patients, clients, and teammates.
• Work independently and complete assigned responsibilities reliably.
• Jump in to support teammates and hospital operations wherever needed.

Salary: $16 – $18 per hour
Schedule: 35 hours per week, including nights and weekends
