Destination Pet LLC in Columbus is seeking an Assistant Manager to help lead our team at Pet Palace Columbus Airport. You will report to the General Manager and oversee daily operations, customer service, and sales.

The role requires at least 1 year of management experience in hospitality, service, or retail, strong leadership and communication skills, and a commitment to safety and compliance. We offer full-time health benefits, 401(k), and competitive pay of $47,000–$50,000, with DailyPay

Qualifications

• Associate or BS/BA is a plus.
• Must be a passionate team player and a strong motivator.
• Minimum of 1 year management experience preferably in hospitality, service and / or retail environments.
• Experience in problem-solving, sound judgment and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database applications.

Responsibilities

• Supports the mission, vision, culture and policies of Destination Pet.
• Ensures delivery of exceptional customer service and salesmanship.
• Collaborates with support staff across departments.
• Manages center staff, motivates, hires, trains and coaches.
• Ensures compliance with labor laws and safety standards.
• Schedules staff and manages payroll budget.
• Promotes and markets Destination Pet's programs in the community.
• Serves as on-site manager when the General Manager is unavailable.
• Maintains inventory and handles banking deposits when needed.
