Job summary

PetSmart’s Professional Bather is responsible for engaging with pet parents and their pets while providing positive experiences, salon specific services and upholding the company’s vision, mission, values, and strategy. This role also shares responsibility of store cleanliness, recommending of solutions for pet parents, and pet safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure.
• Flexibility in schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and safety measures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Ensure positive pet-parent experiences and oversee store safety and cleanliness.
• Greet pet parents, answer questions, and assist with salon reservations.
• Handle check-in and check-out procedures.
• Perform full menu of bath and brush services, including cat grooming where applicable.
• Suggest health and wellness solutions to pet parents as needed.
• Maintain overall store cleanliness and safety standards.
• Assist other departments as required and participate in Belonging and Recognition culture.
