Job summary

Gateway Services is seeking an Operations Team Member in Oxford, CT. This full-time hourly role involves hands-on production, cremation-related tasks and packaging with careful attention to detail.

You will work with a supportive team to meet daily goals, maintain safety standards, and assist with pickups/deliveries as needed. Training is provided, and prior industry experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, physical work required.
• Must be dependable and punctual.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Comfortable working around deceased pets.

Responsibilities

• Operate cremation equipment following established procedures.
• Process and package cremated remains with accuracy and care.
• Create memorial products such as paw prints and keepsakes.
• Perform quality checks to ensure every order is completed correctly.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
• Work with teammates to meet daily production goals.
• Assist with pick-ups/deliveries when needed using a company vehicle.
